Human existence and Islam are deeply interconnected, as Islam provides a comprehensive worldview and framework for understanding the purpose and meaning of life. Let’s explore this relationship.
Purpose of Human Existence in Islam
On a bright sunday morning i sat beside my window unlike daily routine pondering upon the silence , a break from the noisy morning tainted with the smoke coming out of vehicles. The clustered thoughts garnered because of busy weekdays forced me to think upon them and release them gradually.
While i sat by my window releasing and kicking these clusters out of my mind, my eyes stopped on a daily wager following a mundane routine. Does he really have to follow a regular way of his work, Why can’t he take a break? Why some people have to struggle while others have weekends to relax? God might be really unjust ??? (Astagfirullah”)
If God had made all human equal, who would do work for other as everyone’s got same status. Where we will get money from ?? I mean there is no value of money then if all are rich or all are paupers hypothetically.
Everyone here is facing or dealing with some issues in there life. And that what we call a life i mean all ups and downs not constant otherwise its monotonous and boring….
Logically speaking everyone has to die which we do not want to think on is a different case altogether but undeniable face is death…
If we say there is no god then go ahead and prevent yourself from death , you cannot control death nor you were ever able to control your existence in this world ..That derives someone is controlling us …
Now when we think of a powerful person we think of the best powers accumulated with him or we think of a figure like human, we set our superheroes from among human which is not bad , but as you see human body is the most complex structure ever being designed, so the designer would definitely someone unimaginable who created universe out of nothing and later on created earth and other planets with just dust and other particle.. provided a atmosphere exact inhabitable for us to creep in??
Was all that unplanned like we just some day popped out from our mothers womb or what the Theory says our ancestors were ape, so at least ape came out of something…
I mean a fear creeps in when we think there is nothing post we die .. Human a complex structure is not made for a toss, at least i would never want to be created for time pass because we all value ourselves…
Then Think Again why are we created????
Quranic Verse
Allah in Chapter Ad Dhariyat verse 56 says:-
وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦
I did not create jinn and humans except to worship Me.
According to Islamic beliefs, the primary purpose of human existence is to worship and submit to the will of Allah (God). This submission is not limited to ritualistic practices but extends to every aspect of life, including ethical behavior, social justice, and personal growth. In Islam, humans are seen as stewards of the Earth, responsible for taking care of it and its inhabitants
Accountability
Islam teaches that humans will be held accountable for their actions in the hereafter. This belief in the Day of Judgment serves as a powerful motivator for individuals to lead a righteous and just life. It emphasizes the importance of moral conduct and encourages individuals to strive for spiritual growth and righteousness.
We are valuable and we got a purpose in life like everyone. We have a beginning and we gotta end too. We are accountable for the actions we perform in this world. This world is a test we are under observation.
Our results will be declared once we pass out from this room of examination that is death…
Everyone faces hardship in there life , we all want to be rewarded for the good actions we perform and feel the goodness should come back to me …
There are unjust rulers or some wronged a person do you think the wrongdoer will not be caught for there actions ?? Crime is a punishable offence in this world for we humans.. some crimes are not spilled out of the walls is the oppresses going to suffer always?? will he never get justice.. We need some one to do justice and that thing should be greater then we humans , because to do just someone should be picture perfect and no human ever born in the face of the earth so perfect..
We do our jobs for a hope that we will be paid at the end of the month. there is a always a motivation.. For i to be a good human, controlling my anger, when i fall i should dust of myself and dive into life again, someone doing wrong to me to bear that , to loose someone i loved to get over that sorrow i need a motivation and that motivation is we have to die and face GOD and he will give us enough to forget all life issues and being oppressed or any pain..
Quranic Verse
وَلَسَوْفَ يُعْطِيكَ رَبُّكَ فَتَرْضَىٰٓ
And ˹surely˺ your Lord will give so much to you that you will be pleased.
